We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Science Graduate Teaching Assistants to support secondary school students across a range of East London schools. This is an exciting opportunity to work in vibrant, inclusive environments where your subject knowledge can make a real impact.


About the Role:
Youll work closely with teaching staff to support the delivery of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons. Your role will involve assisting with practical experiments, supporting small group learning, and helping students to understand complex scientific concepts in an engaging and accessible way.


Key Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 optional depending on school)
Support individual students or small groups with classwork and revision
Help prepare lab equipment and resources for practical sessions
Work with students with additional learning needs, including SEN and EAL
Foster a positive, inclusive, and curious learning environment


Ideal Candidate:
A recent graduate in a Science-related subject (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Natural Sciences)
Strong communication skills and a confident, enthusiastic attitude
A genuine interest in education or youth work
Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting learning
Prior experience working with young people (preferred but not essential)
