SEND Teaching Assistant

Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term supply until July 2026 (potential permanent role from September 2026)
Pay: Up to 115 per day

TimePlan Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for a supportive primary school in Redbridge, East London. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone passionate about working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND across KS2
• Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning
• Work closely with teachers and the SEND team to implement individual education plans
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a SEND TA, Teaching Assistant, or Learning Support Assistant
• Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, or other additional needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to individual pupil needs
