Print Application Support & Governance (Print Services) - Central London (On-Site Only)

We are currently seeking a highly skilledApplication Support & Governance Consultantto join a prestigiousbanking end clientbased in Central London. This is a fully on-site position and will play a key role in supporting and governing the client's print environment, ensuring stability, compliance, and future readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve asApplication Managerfor print-related mnemonics (EQC, KAS, NUA, RMT, RTN), overseeing maintenance, uptime, and resolution of critical issues.

  • Leadincident managementfor print-related issues, including troubleshooting, MIM response, diagnostics, and stakeholder communications.

  • Monitor the print environmentproactivelyto detect and mitigate issues before they impact operations.

  • Addressinfrastructure vulnerabilitiesrelated to print services, ensuring fullsecurity and compliance.

  • Manageupdates, patches, and firmware upgradesacross the print infrastructure.

  • Drive themigrationfrom brownfield to greenfield environments, includingPtX transition.

  • Oversee and coordinate theAdmin teamon-site to maintain print operations.

  • Collaborate with application teams tominimize internal application print jobsand identify opportunities for optimization.

  • Gather and deliverkey business requirementsfor new tools, as well assecurity and regulatory compliance.

  • Developbusiness cases and technical feasibility studiesfor the migration of the print environment to the cloud, includingbenefit analysis and cost neutralityevaluation.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong background inApplication Support/Managementwithinbanking or regulated environments

  • Proven expertise inprint services management, especially across complex, enterprise-level environments

  • Hands-on experience withincident response, troubleshooting, androot cause analysis

  • Solid understanding ofcompliance, security standards, andpatch management

  • Excellentstakeholder communication and coordinationskills

  • Experience inmigration projects, particularly from on-prem to cloud (beneficial)
