What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our supportive inpatient rehabilitation team and play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and function after illness or injury. In this role, you will:

• Perform comprehensive functional assessments of patients with varied rehab needs• Develop and deliver tailored treatment and rehabilitation plans• Use activity-based interventions to support recovery of daily living skills• Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team including physiotherapists, nurses, and discharge planners• Contribute to safe discharge planning and support patient transitions home• Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS standards

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid HCPC registration• Experience in inpatient rehab or general hospital-based OT roles• Knowledge of manual handling, cognitive assessments, and discharge planning• Strong communication and teamwork skills• A patient-centred, proactive approach to care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a flexible locum role with full-time availability preferred (minimum 4 days/week). The contract is ongoing with a strong likelihood of extension depending on service needs and performance.
