Job Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences and ensure students remain focused on pre-prepared work. A successful Cover Supervisor must be confident managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in the absence of the class teacher.
- Ensure students complete assigned work set by the teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Report any issues or concerns to senior staff.
- Support students with questions and encourage engagement.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A positive attitude and professional presence.
