We are seeking a skilled, immediately available Maintenance Operative with expertise in residential new build, multi-trades, to be based across two projects- Finsbury Park & Canary Wharf.

As a Maintenance/Customer Care Operative, your primary responsibilities will include enhancing the aesthetics of various surfaces, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring a high-quality finish in high-end residential units.

Your proficiency in painting, decorating, and mastic application will be essential to the success of this role along with previous experience in basic electrics, and plumbing. There will be an element of customer interaction, so this person much be a fantastic communicator and personable.

  • Working hours 7:30am to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Paying 40,000-47,500 ASAP start

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safety Compliance:

    • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Utilize safety equipment as required, including personal protective equipment (PPE).
  2. Quality Control:

    • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client satisfaction.
    • Make any necessary touch-ups or corrections to achieve a flawless finish.
  3. Customer Service:

    • Interact professionally with clients and address their questions or concerns.
    • Provide guidance and recommendations regarding paint colors, finishes, and decorating options.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an operative for a New Build developer
  • Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and finishes.
  • Proficiency in mastic application and repairs.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical fitness and stamina for physically demanding tasks.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and guidelines.
