TXM Recruit are working in partnership with arapidly growing railway services provider, based in London. They offer a wide range of services including Track, Buildings and Civils-based project support.
Thanks to continued growth, and a number of significant contract awards, they are lookingan experienced Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join them.
The successful candidate will operate as their Commerical Lead,creating and implementing robust commercial processes and procedures, laying the foundations for a strong commercial function as the business expands.

Key responsibilities:
- Leading commercial functions across various projects and frameworks.
- Taking ownership of budgets, forecasting, and cost control from project inception to final account.
- Managing contract administration in line with NEC (NEC3/NEC4) and other standard forms.
- Preparing applications for payment, managing variations, and closing final accounts.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Quantity Surveyor in a rail, civils or infrastructure environment.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Construction Management.
- RICS accreditation or working toward (desirable but not essential).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Must be happy to work from the Stratford office 5 days a week.
