Our award winning bar is seeking a new Bar Manager for our Thai Speakeasy, which serves curated cocktails and light food.
Key Information
Position: Cocktail Bar Manager
Type of Establishment: Small Size Cocktail Bar - Max 55 covers.
Working Hours & Pay
Tuesday-Wednesday 4-11:30pm
Thursday-Saturday 4-01:00am
Weekly Hours:
37-45 hoursper week
£14-18ph -Contingent on experience level and Tronc allocation
Will occasionally need to work OT: private events or admin
Requirements
Experience:
Cocktail experience6 months preferred
Hospitality experience1 year + preferred
Can learn and progress on the job with the right attitude and effort
Must have right to work in UK
Personal Traits:
Must have ahappy easy going personality, with a an emphasis on customer facing interactions
A team leader and player is essential
Eager to listen, learn and progress
Attitude and effort is key

Responsibilities
Create Quarterly Cocktail Menus and teach to the staff
Rota Management is key and expected to keep site on budget
Prepare and serve a variety ofcocktailsand drinks
Flexible and varied role due to size of establishment and offerings such as light food, Floor & hosting work would be expected when requeired.
Manage your own small team of staff - Delegate, teach and motivate
Answer directly to the Directors
Provide excellentcustomer service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area andKParea and whole of work floor.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere
Delegate tasks effectively to your staff
Punctuality and Time Management
Promotion of the Bar, working with our Marketing team
Inventory & Stock Management
Manage Reservations and follow-ups ups and securing private bookings
