Business Studies Teacher (January Start)

Location: Redbridge 

Contract: Full-time, Long-term 

Start Date: January 2025

Smart Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Business Studies Teacher to join a high-achieving East London secondary school from January. The successful candidate will teach Business Studies across Key Stages 3–4, with the opportunity to deliver KS5 depending on experience. This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about inspiring students and maintaining high academic standards.

About the role: 

• Teach Business Studies across KS3–KS4 (KS5 may be available)

• Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons that promote strong outcomes

• Use effective assessment to monitor progress and inform planning

• Contribute to departmental curriculum development and enrichment

• Maintain excellent behaviour management and a purposeful learning environment

• Participate in department meetings, CPD, and wider school initiatives

Requirements: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies

• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to inspire and motivate students

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
