About the Role: As our Permanent Teacher of History, you will play a crucial role in bringing history to life for our students. You will deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5, sparking curiosity about different eras, cultures, and the forces that have shaped our world. You will inspire students to become critical thinkers and informed citizens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated History lessons across all key stages.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed in History.
- Develop and share high-quality teaching resources and contribute to the History curriculum.
- Track student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and implement effective interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Humanities department and the wider school community.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities that promote an interest in history.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong degree in History or a closely related field.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
