This large Community school located in the borough of Redbridge, are looking to recruit a Media Studies Teacher to join their team from September. The Senior Leadership Team have the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. The school have recently completed their rebuild and the facilities available are fantastic.
The Senior Leadership Team are very supportive of their staff and are always trying to better their expertise. Having been graded Good in their last Ofsted, it was stated that "Leaders and their staff work together to maintain high expectations of all pupils. This leads to pupils good behaviour and positive relationships."

MEDIA STUDIES TEACHER:
Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful department. The Media department is committed to helping students learn about the media in its various forms. Through their GCSE, A-Level and BTEC courses, they aim to help students gain a better understanding of the role of media in the modern world. They look to provide their students with the knowledge about the effect media has on society. With varying levels of experience within the department, both experienced Media Studies and Newly Qualified (NQT) Media Studies Teachers are welcomed to apply for this post.
The role is to start in September and will be for the autumn term in the first instance.
To be considered for this MEDIA STUDIES Teacher role you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- PGCE in Media Studies
- Experience teaching Media Studies to KS3, KS4 and KS5, as well as BTEC
- The desire to join a very successful department and school
