This teaching assistant role is the ideal role for graduates who are considering a career in teaching and are eager to gain paid experience in a secondary school setting.

Each year this East London secondary school appoint a small number of graduates to work within the schools learning support department gaining invaluable experience through working as a teaching assistant.

The graduates work with students of all abilities including pupils with special educational needs in a wide range of subject areas.

This teaching assistant role will commence ASAP and will be full time for the remainder of the academic year.

The school are looking for graduates who have some form of paid or voluntary experience with young people. You may have gained this experience a number of ways such as voluntary school work, youth work, tutoring, sports coaching
