Learning Support Assistant

Reeson Education is seeking committed and adaptable Learning Support Assistants to work on a daily supply basis across primary schools in Waltham Forest. This is a great opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant who enjoys flexible work and supporting pupils with a range of additional needs in different school environments.

Schools across Walthamstow, Leyton, Chingford and surrounding areas regularly require Learning Support Assistants who can step in confidently and provide high-quality support. As a daily supply Learning Support Assistant, you will be helping keep classrooms running smoothly and ensuring continuity for pupils who rely on consistent SEN support.

• Daily Rate: 82.14-100

• Start: ASAP

• Working Pattern: Fully flexible - choose your days

• Location: Primary schools across Waltham Forest

• Contract: Daily supply / bank staff

• Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or small-group basis

• Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and routines

• Helping children with communication, emotional regulation and engagement

• Implementing behaviour support strategies under guidance

• Adapting quickly to new classes, routines and pupils

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or SEN support worker

• Strong understanding of needs such as autism, ADHD, SEMH or speech & language

• Reliable, flexible and confident working in different classrooms

• Calm, patient and supportive approach

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
