Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Immediate & September Start)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? A welcoming and inclusive 2-form entry mainstream primary school in Redbridge is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team, with both immediate and September 2025 start dates available.
About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Your role will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
- Assisting with the development of individual learning plans
- Supporting students' social and emotional development
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs and parents
About You:
- Experienced in working with children, particularly those with special educational needs.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
- Good communication and teamworking skills
- A relevant qualification such as an NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable but not essential.
