Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? A welcoming and inclusive 2-form entry mainstream primary school in Redbridge is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team, with both immediate and September 2025 start dates available.

About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Your role will include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
  • Assisting with the development of individual learning plans
  • Supporting students' social and emotional development
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs and parents

About You:

  • Experienced in working with children, particularly those with special educational needs.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
  • Good communication and teamworking skills
  • A relevant qualification such as an NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable but not essential.
