SEN Teaching Assistant

Reeson Education is looking for reliable and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a daily supply basis across primary schools in Waltham Forest. This is the perfect role for an SEN Teaching Assistant who enjoys flexibility, choosing which days they work while supporting pupils with additional needs across a range of friendly and inclusive schools.

Schools in Walthamstow, Leyton and Chingford are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants who can step in confidently to support pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs and social-emotional challenges. As a daily supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in keeping learning consistent and helping pupils remain settled.

• Pay: 82.14-100 per day

• Start: ASAP

• Working Pattern: Fully flexible - choose your days

• Location: Waltham Forest primary schools

• Type: Daily supply / bank staff

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support for children with SEN

• Follow teacher and SENCO guidance to ensure consistency for pupils

• Support emotional regulation, communication and positive behaviour

• Adapt quickly to new classrooms and routines

• Help create a safe, calm and inclusive environment

• Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting SEN pupils

• Ability to work confidently across different year groups

• Calm, patient and supportive nature

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility and reliability are essential
