Salary: 90 - 105 per day (depending on experience)
Are you a caring and proactive individual with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? A friendly and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Year 2 team from June 3rd.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve a mix of one-to-one support and small group intervention to help children with a range of special educational needs.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN, particularly in literacy and numeracy
Run targeted small group interventions under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
Help manage behaviour positively and consistently
Support the emotional and social development of pupils with additional needs
Assist with classroom routines and personalised learning resources
We are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant who:
Has previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting
Is patient, empathetic, and able to adapt to different needs
Can build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
Has a DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one)
