Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller

North Devon | Competitive salary (DOE) | Day Shift | Flexitime |

Acorn By Synergie are in search of a talented Accounts Assistant with Credit Control experience for a most reputable Manufacturing business based in North Devon who are expanding and at a very fast pace indeed.

Job Role & Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing all aspects of credit control.
  • Timely input of purchase invoices.
  • Dealing promptly with supplier and invoice queries via email and telephone.
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Ensuring compliance checks are completed with regards to HMRC Customs requirements.
  • Update and maintain financial elements of supplier database.
  • Administration of employee expenses.
  • Provide department cover when required.

The successful candidate will have experience in:

  • Credit Control.
  • Multi-currencies.
  • Month end tasks such as posting journals, reconciliations, similar.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Purchase ledger.
  • Lastly, excellent communication skills as will be dealing with customers, international sister companies, area Sales Managers, etc.

  • The role will be on Days (Monday - Thursday, 07:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 07:30am - 12pm) | Flexitime offered (typically an hour either side).
