Our client is a growing organisation in Ilkeston and are looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their successful organisation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the finance function.
Description
Assistant Accountant Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with month end processes
- Maintain financial records
- Supporting with Transactional duties (Purchase and Sales Ledger)
- Payment runs
- Reconciliations (bank and balance sheet)
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare reports
Profile
The successful Assistant Accountant:
- Experience in a similar role
- Actively studying towards a qualification
- Strong numerical skills
- Proficient in finance software
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Able to commute to their office in Ilkeston
