We are working with a leading UK manufacturer in their search for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team at their Ilkeston recycling facility. The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining DC motors and associated drives
- Servicing and repairing process control equipment
- Electrical and/or mechanical installation work
- Planned and preventative maintenance (mechanical and electrical)
- Fault-finding and breakdown maintenance on industrial/process control systems
- Electrical and mechanical repairs on extrusion plant and recycling equipment
- MUST BE ABLE TO DO 4 ON 4 OFF DAYS AND NIGHTS
The Person
We are looking for candidates with:
- Mechanical and electrical installation/maintenance experience
- Recognised Level 3 apprenticeship/training scheme in electrical or mechanical maintenance
- Strong ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- Previous experience maintaining and repairing PLC systems
- A full UK driving licence
