Machine Operative

We are now recruiting for Machine Operatives for our client, based in the Ilkeston area.  These are initially an on-going, temporary roles, working days and afternoons .  Working in a engineering/workshop environment, this role has the potential to become permanent

Duties

 - Operating manual machinery (including boring, milling and lathe machines and guillotine saws)

 -  Using verniers and callipers

What we require from you -

 - Ideally previous machining)/engineering experience, and able to work in a dusty/noisy environment

 - Welding experience preferable

- Willingness to learn new skills

 - Able to work days and afternoons  (Monday - Friday)
