Job Discription

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will run the Distribution Centre.

Shifts: This is a 24/6 busy operation, hours will be dictated by the operation.

Key Duties

  • Manage the business by leading from the frontensuring its carried out in an effective, safe and professional manner.
  • Proactivly promoting a culture of safe working practices while ensuring all members of staff comply with H&S regulations.
  • You will act a key lasion point between your customers and your team with regards any queries, complaints or issuess arising during the day.
  • Ensure KPI's and service levels are consistently achived by effective business planning and utilising staff avalible.
  • You will have the ability to motivate and instruct others in standard operating procedures and work in a methodical, logical manner, ensuring compliance with contractual targets.
  • Have the ability to work at pace.
  • Ensuring the warehouse and operation are maintained and comply with all Health & Safety and business regualtions.

Requirements

  • P&L/Budget responsiblity,attention to detail/accuracy.Conscience and reliable.
  • Able to work with out direct supervision.
  • Adaptable approch to work and training.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Able to work efficently and accuratly under pressure.
  • Able to effectivly priortise your work load in order to meet set dedlines.
  • Computor literate, particularly MS Office applications i.e Power Point,Word Excel
  • Able to work as part of a team or indervidualy.
  • Previous experiance in a similar role within a major distribution operation.
