We have an exciting exclusive piece of recruitment with a start up company in Ilkley who are ready to expand due to continued success of the business. They are a small and lovely team who work closely together to offer an excellent level of support to eligible customers within the green energy sector. We are looking for motivated and resilient candidates who are keen to work within a flexible environment where they will get to be involved in all areas of the business.

Right now, they are expanding due to increasing demand-their marketing is generating a load of warm leads, and they need an additional professional to help manage enquiries and drive projects forward.

Joining this business will allow variety, and whilst you will be provided with full training and ongoing support from the whole team, they need someone who has the ability to get stuck in and work relatively autonomously.

The Role:

  • High earning potential - Clear progression and commission.
  • Warm leads only - No cold calling, all inbound enquiries.
  • Young, relaxed team - No corporate setting, just hard work and good laughs.
  • Early Friday finish - as early as 12pm!

This is a phone-based sales and customer management role, handling inbound enquiries from homeowners interested in the energy scheme. You'll be the first point of contact, qualifying leads, checking eligibility, and booking surveys-with the opportunity to manage full customer projects as you grow into the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering inbound calls and qualifying warm leads.
  • Checking property eligibility via the EPC register.
  • Guiding customers through the process, asking key questions.
  • Booking surveys promptly and efficiently.
  • Managing admin tasks between calls (updating spreadsheets, coordinating with surveyors).
  • Gradually taking ownership of full customer journeys-from first call to job completion.

Key Requirements:

  • Sales/phone experience - Comfortable talking to people from all walks of life.
  • Quick learner - Willing to get stuck into the green energy sector.
  • Admin-savvy - Happy to handle spreadsheets and follow processes.
  • Team fit - Down-to-earth, personable, chatty and outgoing.
  • Self-motivated - Proactive in a fast-moving startup environment.
