Logistics Manager – Ilkley - £40,000 - £45,000
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnered with a renowned British manufacturer steeped in history who are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join their team.
This newly created role will play a vital part in ensuring that products are delivered to customers worldwide in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Logistics Manager Duties:
- Manage end-to-end logistics, including inbound deliveries, off-site storage, global dispatch, shipment and delivery
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of equipment and spare parts worldwide
- Oversee budgets, documentation and compliance, covering freight, packing, warehousing, customs, VAT and health & safety regulations
- Liaise with freight forwarders, packing companies and logistics providers to ensure smooth, compliant international shipments
- Collaborate with internal teams to align logistics with production timelines, driving continuous improvement and reducing lead times
- Lead, coach and develop the logistics team, maintain accurate records, report to management and oversee company vehicle servicing
Hours: 8am – 4:15pm Monday – Friday

Required skills & experience:
- Proven experience in a logistics management role within an engineering or manufacturing environment (essential)
- Strong understanding of international shipping and customs procedures, Incoterms, export control
- Experience managing logistics budgets and negotiating with export packing & freight suppliers/carriers
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Previous experience leading a team
