About the Role:
As an Applications Engineer, you will be the primary technical point of contact for customers, working closely with the Sales and Business Development teams. Your technical expertise will support pre-sales efforts, help evaluate RFQs, and guide clients toward effective manufacturing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and pre-sales support for customers in the manufacturing industry.
- Act as a trusted technical consultant, understanding client requirements and offering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Management to assess pricing and margin models on customer RFQs.
- Travel to customer sites as needed to offer on-site support and advice (approx. 25% travel).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a technical support or sales role within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software tools.
