Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Machine Operative (CNC) to join a well-established and growing manufacturing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist to work in a supportive environment, with ongoing training and potential for long-term progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precision parts.
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings to programme machines accurately.
- Make necessary adjustments to machines and existing programmes to meet specifications.
- Maintain and clean equipment as required.
- Carry out tests on finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
- Accurately complete and update production records.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot and correct defects.
- A proactive and reliable approach to work.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
