About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Port Forklift Operator to support daily cargo handling operations within our busy port environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts around containers, cargo, and high-traffic industrial areas.



Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts, including high-capacity and container-handling models (if applicable)

  • Load and unload trucks, containers, pallets, and port equipment

  • Move cargo safely within port terminals and warehouses

  • Assist with container yard operations and storage organisation

  • Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine forklift maintenance

  • Follow all port safety regulations, traffic control rules, and marine industry standards

  • Communicate with stevedores, supervisors, and logistics teams to maintain efficient workflow



Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid/ expired forklift licence

  • Experience in port operations, logistics, warehousing, or container yards preferred

  • Ability to operate forklifts in busy, high-risk, industrial environments

  • Strong understanding of load stability, cargo safety, and equipment checks

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work shifts, nights, weekends, or overtime if required

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
