The Job Role
We are looking for a reliable Class 1 driver to carry out nationwide general haulage deliveries. You will be responsible for safely transporting mixed freight.
- Long-distance general haulage deliveries across the UK
- 4-5 nights out per week (tramping)
- Safe loading, securing, and unloading of goods
- Completing daily vehicle checks and paperwork
- Following driving hours and transport regulations
- Maintaining a clean and tidy sleeper cab
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
What do you need to be a successful Class 1 Driver
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- General haulage or tramping experience preferred
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- Reliable, safe, and able to work independently
