HGV Class 1 Driver

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Pay: £35,671 + Overtime + Meal Allowance

• Basic Pay: £685.99 per week (45 hrs)

• Overtime: £15.24/hr (Mon–Sat) | £15.50/hr (Sun & Bank Holidays)

• Meal Allowance: £5.00 per day

• Holiday Pay: 21 days + statutory bank holidays (Christmas allocation required)

• Sick Pay: Statutory sick pay (after 3 waiting days)

We’re looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our established night operations team in Immingham. You’ll be responsible for transporting a variety of goods across the UK using modern Class 1 curtainsider vehicles.

This is a secure, long-term opportunity with consistent work patterns, enhanced overtime rates, and strong team support.

• Carrying out night-time deliveries and collections across the UK

• Safely transporting general haulage cargo (wood, pallets, steel, paper rolls, etc.)

• Completing all paperwork and maintaining accurate records

• Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

• Complying with driving regulations and company policies

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• CPC qualification & DIGI Card

• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience preferred

• Experience with curtainsiders desirable

• Good understanding of load security and safe driving practices

• Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts when needed
