We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, proactive Transport Manager / Planner to support our clients' haulage operations. If you know your way around planning loads, keeping drivers on the move, and making sure everything runs legally and efficiently, we want to hear from you. You’ll play a key role in making sure their fleet is out there doing business safely, legally, and profitably.

Responsibilities for the Role:

Here’s what you’ll be getting stuck into day-to-day:

  • You will manage your own fleet of drivers
  • Implementing and keeping on top of all company systems and procedures
  • Supporting the company’s growth
  • Planning, organising and managing drivers, keeping things within legal driving hours and regulations
  • Monitoring vehicle performance
  • Putting agreed company objectives into action
  • Handling driver issues and sorting out disciplinaries when needed, following proper procedures

Additional Information

  • Holding a CPC is a big bonus
  • We are looking for someone who’s worked in a similar transport/haulage role for a minimum of 2 years
  • Must be confident working with driver rules
  • You’ll need to be a good communicator, a strong organiser, and someone who can handle the day-to-day pressure of road haulage
