Our client, is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (M&E) for a long-term contract at Immingham Port. This role involves leading the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) support package on a major infrastructure project, ensuring the delivery of critical systems and infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled contractor to make a significant impact on a high-profile development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full M&E support scope across the project, including:
  • Power distribution and supply systems
  • Internal and external lighting
  • Fire alarm and detection systems
  • Communication and data systems
  • Associated containment and support infrastructure
  • Oversee day-to-day coordination of subcontractors and site teams
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards, specifications, and programme timelines
  • Act as the primary interface between M&E contractors, client representatives, and the wider project team
  • Manage documentation, reporting, and project records in line with quality assurance protocols
  • Support commissioning, testing, and final handover processes

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience managing M&E packages on large infrastructure projects
    • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems within an industrial or port environment
    • Exceptional organisational and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple disciplines and stakeholders across a dynamic site
    • SMSTS or equivalent safety certification preferred
    • Previous experience working on port infrastructure or marine projects is highly desirable
