s a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for commercial, procurement and estimating duties on a range of Masonry packages for New Build and Heritage projects, including but not limited to the following:
- Reviewing subcontract packages issued by clients at the beginning of a project and manage through to final account.
- Preparing monthly applications/valuations and agree certification with clients as part of the monthly payment cycle, including tracking material and labour costs throughout the project.
- Producing accurate cash flow submissions each month based on predicted incoming and outgoing payments for each project you are involved with.
- Reviewing the latest design information thoroughly, querying details where necessary, and identifying changes in drawing/document revisions.
- Preparing and placing material orders with suppliers in line with our agreed contract sum analysis and internal cost plan.
- Managing our design and procurement process for bespoke materials such as stonework, prefabricated brickwork and other products.
- Measuring from drawings to produce fully priced, detailed bills of quantities and construction take-offs as part of preparing tender submissions.
- Obtaining and understanding material quotations from specified suppliers to incorporate within our tender submissions.
- Liaising with all our clients in a friendly and professional manner.

Please note, we require applicants to have a minimum of 5 years experience in the role of Project Quantity Surveyor. A background of working at a Masonry Subcontractor (Brickwork and/or Stonework) is preferred.

- Relevant degree qualification in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management.
