The business is undergoing a period of transformation, offering significant scope to drive value, improve processes, and implement efficiencies. The role is best suited to someone who enjoys overseeing the full finance function, including management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, monthly MI reporting, gross margin analysis, payroll, and leading a small finance team.
Responsibilities include:
- Monthly management reporting via excel and PowerBI
- Cash management
- Payroll processing
- Business partnering across internal and external senior stakeholders including investors, advisors, banks and suppliers
- Creating improvements and efficiencies across finance and the wider business
- VAT Returns
- Nominal Ledger postings, including accruals and prepayments, depreciation
- Fixed asset tracking, recording, and recognition
- Assisting with the annual budget preparation
- Annual audit preparation, including tax and statutory reporting
- Management and ongoing mentorship of a team of 3
- Working to drive forward ongoing transformation and improvement across the organisation.
- A willingness to roll their sleeves up and undertake day to day finance activities
- A genuine desire to actively contribute new ideas and initiatives across the business
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact appropriately with individuals at every level of the business and successfully manage external relationships
- Excellent excel skills
- Results-focussed, a can-do attitude and the ability to constructively challenge ideas
