Overview:

We are currently seeking a Senior HVAC Engineer to join an established engineering team delivering complex projects in highly regulated environments. This is a key role within a multi-disciplinary team where you will contribute your HVAC expertise across a variety of high-profile technical projects.

Candidates must currently hold minimum SC clearance to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the design of HVAC systems including ductwork, ventilation, and piping layouts

  • Produce and review engineering drawings such as schematics, equipment layouts, and process flow diagrams

  • Complete HVAC design calculations including load assessments, duct/pipe sizing, and airflow analysis

  • Prepare technical documentation including risk assessments, technical specifications, substantiation reports, installation plans, and O&M manuals

  • Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to ensure successful project delivery

  • Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, internal quality standards, and safety requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services

  • Proven experience in HVAC design and project delivery

  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices

  • Ability to produce structured technical documentation and reports

  • Experience leading small teams or engineering work packages

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
