A leading consultancy is seeking a New Business Producer to join its People Solutions team. The business supports clients across the full spectrum of employee benefits, with this role focusing specifically on pensions.

The team partners with organisations ranging from 250 to 100,000 employees, including global brands and innovative start-ups.

About the Role

The main purpose of this role is to generateprofitable new business opportunitiesby developing relationships with major UK and global organisations across a range of industries. You’ll have the autonomy to identify opportunities, open new sectors and distribution channels, and shape propositions that meet client demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively prospecting and managing a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong client, introducer, and partner relationships
  • Leading prospect meetings, tenders, and proposal presentations
  • Feeding into business planning and forecasting
  • Negotiating fees or commissions in line with company standards
  • Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory obligations
  • Monitoring service standards and client satisfaction

About You

  • Strong track record in business development within pensions or wider employee benefits
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and partners
  • Skilled negotiator with excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Understanding of pensions solutions, with broader awareness of health, risk, and wellbeing strategies
  • Driven, proactive, and confident working with autonomy
