Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing FMCG company, is seeking a proactive and organised Operations Co-Ordinator to join their team in North Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of a busy depot, supporting the Depot Supervisor to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Duties for this role include:

  • Assist the Depot Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the depot.
  • Maintain stock accuracy across the site and regularly updating in-house system.
  • Ensuring compliance with established administrative procedures.
  • Ensuring all orders are processed accurately.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to both new and existing customers.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries via phone and email.
  • Liaise effectively with internal sales and administration teams to support stock planning and customer requirements.
  • Welcome and assist customers and visitors to the depot in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Support the Depot Supervisor in ensuring site-wide compliance with company policies and procedures.

Candidates will need to meet the following requirements in order to apply for this role:

  • Previous experience in operations, logistics, or depot-based role (FMCG experience preferred).
  • Confident communicating over the phone and face to face with internal and external parties
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Strong minded and able to adhere to tight deadlines within a fast- paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Exceptional telephone manager
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable using stock management systems and general office IT tools (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
  • A positive, customer-focused attitude .
