What's on offer?

  • £21 per hour, with overtime paid up to £31.50 per hour
  • Full-time work - 37 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm - with an early Friday finish

Your duties and responsibilities as a Pipefitter will include reading and interpreting detailed schematics for complex machines, as well as:

  • Using hand tools and power tools to trim, cut and fit components into the final product.
  • Welding and soldering pieces together
  • Aligning components and connecting them with bolts and screws
  • Working with collaborative robots to produce and assemble components
  • Finding faulty components in defective products to fix them

To be successful in this Pipefitter position you will ideally have previous experience in a similar role. Combined with:

  • A detail-orientated and methodical approach
  • Experience with various welding equipment
  • Ability to use electrical or manual tools
  • Understanding of technical documents and drawings
  • Manual skills and a steady hand
  • A good level of fitness and resilience
  • Knowledge of basic safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
