My client is looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join their rapidly growing organisation based in Inverness. Working closely with the FD, you will be responsible for overseeing a small team to ensure that the credit control function runs smoothly.

Duties will include:

  • Monitoring aged debtor reports and ensuring efficient cash collection
  • Preparing regular reports on debtor performance and risk for senior management
  • Reviewing and setting credit limits and payment terms in line with policy
  • Improving and implementing effective credit control procedures and reporting
  • Assist with month-end reporting and cash flow forecasting
  • Supporting and developing a small team of junior staff
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience within a similar role
  • Possess a driven and proactive attitude, with the aim to progress into a leadership role
  • Have experience dealing with complex and high-volume accounts
  • Have excellent communication, negotiation and rapport-building skills
