Overview

One of our main hospitality clients is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join their housekeeping team. As part of one of the UK’s leading hotel groups, the Inverness hotel blends world-class hospitality with the stunning beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Their commitment to exceptional service and immaculate guest experiences makes them a destination of choice for tourists and business travellers alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas to company standards.
  • Change bed linen, make beds, and replace towels and amenities as required.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces in assigned areas.
  • Replenish room supplies such as tea, coffee, toiletries, and stationery.
  • Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good condition.
  • Report any maintenance issues, lost property, or safety concerns to the Housekeeping Manager promptly.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Support other departments as necessary to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential — full training provided.
  • High attention to detail regarding cleanliness and presentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks (lifting, bending, standing for long periods).
