Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders for despatch, ensuring quality control at all stages.
- Prepare and label shipments according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily despatch targets and deadlines.
- Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Forklift certification is an advantage but not essential.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items as required.
A highly competitive salary is offered for this role. Monday to Friday dayshift hours, with the occasional backshift required from time to time. This is a salaried, permanent position. Closing date for applications for this role is Monday 2nd June 2025 due to the urgent nature of the post.
