As a Foreman, you'll play a key role in the delivery of major civil engineering works with a focus on water projects. You will support the Site Agent in managing site activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to budget. You'll be a hands-on leader with a solid background, able to drive quality and performance on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise site operations, ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently
Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and plant/machinery usage
Drive progress on-site in line with programme targets
Maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance
Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections
Work closely with Site Engineers and Site Agents to solve problems on the ground
Ensure correct use of drawings, method statements, and risk assessments
Keep site diaries, progress records, and reports up to date
Requirements
Proven experience as a General Foreman in civil infrastructure (ideally water infrastructure projects))
Strong leadership and people management skills
Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and HSEQ standards
Have a valid CSCS card
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents
Good communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence
