Our client operate in the building and civil engineering industries, specialising in ground works, reinforced concrete structures, and infrastructure. The role

As Project Director, you will oversee the delivery of a 75m earthworksproject in Inverness. You will lead the project from conception to completion, interacting with both internal stakeholders and the client. You must be able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results and ensure the project is delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget. Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project budgets
  • Carry out health and safety procedures
  • Supporting and leading the project team
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment
  • Assemble project team and assign tasks to team member
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members
  • Monitor progress of project team by holding reviews regularly
  • Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process

For this role, it is essential to have a strong background leading large-scale civil engineering projects in particular earthworks, managing internal teams as well as effective engagement with the client. You will also have:
