About the Role
This is a pivotal role for an ambitious, strategic thinker with a passion for growth. As our Business Development Manager, you'll drive revenue, forge new partnerships, and strengthen our brand's market presence. You'll bring energy, creativity, and commercial acumen to develop opportunities, analyse trends, and shape initiatives that increase profitability across our hotel, restaurant, event venues, and Brewstillery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow sales, market share, and profit
- Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, products, partnerships, and customers
- Build and manage relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Conduct in-depth market analysis and customer trend research
- Lead the sales and marketing team, ensuring targets and objectives are met
- Create and deliver impactful presentations to prospective customers
- Oversee business forecasts and provide strategic insights directly to ownership
- Negotiate commercial contracts and supplier agreements
- Generate leads, conduct outreach, and meet clients face-to-face and virtually
- Drive operational change by aligning business goals with strategic execution
- Ensure teams across the organisation understand and support business development goals
- Stay ahead of market shifts and competitor activity, adapting plans as needed
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience (ideally 5+ years) in business development, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or FMCG
- A strategic mindset with strong analytical and communication skills
- Confidence in pitching, negotiating, and closing deals
- A proactive, energetic approach with the ability to lead and inspire a team
- Ability to see the big picture while managing day-to-day detail
- Full UK Driving Licence
