Search are working with their client in Inverurie, who are looking for reliable and hardworking Factory Operatives to join their team!

Job Title: Factory Operative

Working Hours: mon-fri, (Apply online only)

Pay Rate: 13.50p/h (15.13 inc holiday pay) - weekend overtime paid at 1.25x (16.87p/h)

Contract: Temporary - opportunity for permanent for the right candidates

Starting: ASAP



Details:

  • Must be physically active, have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience of working in a workshop is an advantage but not necessary.
  • Some experience of working with machinery with control panels is an advantage but once again, not necessary.
  • Experience of working with hand tools such as drills, pneumatic air tools, hammers, etc. is an advantage, even if this is in a DIY setting.
  • Drivers license and access to a vehicle is preferred due to location.

What you will be doing:

  • Act as a key member of the Manufacturing team, reporting to Production Supervisor(s)
  • Abide by all health and safety standards, and report any issues where necessary relating to this, machinery or equipment
  • Manufacture company specific components as per training and pre-agreed standards
  • Build and maintain relationships with colleagues on the factory floor, and management
  • Daily operation of power tools and machinery
