Opus People Solutions are looking for our next talented individuals to join the ASC Personal Finance Team, which is part of the Financial Inclusion and Advice Service of Adult Social Care within Suffolk County Council. The ASC Personal Finance Team is responsible for managing the finances of vulnerable adults in Suffolk, as corporate appointees and court-appointed deputies for property and financial affairs.

As a Finance Administrator you will be making online claims for Universal Credit, collecting information required to make the claim, including evidence of identity, tenancy details and capital. Working with support workers, landlords, social workers, families and adults during the process, identifying problems, checking decisions and ensuring payments are correct, updating records on the team's Finance Protection database.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within office environment, great attention to detail and be able to record information clearly and accurately. Ability to work under pressure, proficient in Microsoft Office, a natural team player with the desire to learn. We are looking for someone who is committed to supporting the wellbeing of the adults we work with.

DBS check will be carried out prior to starting along with completed 3 years reference history. Candidates will need to commit to ASAP start once completed.
