Reed Accountancy are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious firm in Ipswich to recruit a Tax Advisor. You will provide expert tax advice to high net worth individuals and trustees on specific events or transactions, and manage associated tax reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Planning: Offer comprehensive tax planning services related to income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax for personal, trust, and estate tax clients.
  • Tax Reporting: Handle all aspects of personal tax reporting, including managing a small portfolio of personal clients, reviewing work, and supervising and developing junior colleagues.
  • Business Development: Engage in business development activities to generate new work and support the growth of the tax practice.
  • Team Support: Assist the Partner head and collaborate with the Senior Tax Advisor to manage tax work from internal and external sources. Provide support to the International Tax Advisory Team on private client tax reporting matters.
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified personal tax advisor with expertise in income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
  • Have knowledge of Trusts.
  • Possess experience in all forms of personal tax.
  • Hold a formal tax qualification (preferably CTA level).
  • Have a track record of participating in business development activities.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and take initiative.
  • Be interested in leveraging technology to enhance efficiency in both advisory and compliance work.
