TSR Ipswich Ltd are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to join a busy and growing production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a machine with the added responsibility of leading a small team on the shop floor.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy and quality, and is looking for a long-term role with growth potential.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the machine (full training provided)

Oversee and coordinate a small team (usually 2 people) during the edge banding process

Follow detailed instructions and specifications to ensure a high-quality finish

Minimise waste and maintain production efficiency

Conduct routine machine checks and carry out basic maintenance

Ensure a clean, safe, and organised work area

Communicate effectively with team members and management

Help meet production targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
What We’re Looking For

Previous machine operating experience (essential, although training will be provided!)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude

Able to follow instructions and work independently

Confident in leading or supervising a small team

Good communication skills and team spirit
