We are looking for a dynamic Account Development Executive to provide our customers with ‘wow experiences’ by delivering first class customer care. You will be responsible for the welcome installation call, calling customers that have stopped ordering, calling customers who have fallen into negative spend and calling customers that are not taking various consumables and/or ancillary products. All these activities are focused on maximising consumable sales through the customer lifecycle. This role will also support the regional sales teams by handling ad hoc customer enquiries and assisting with customer-related tasks. You will also collaborate with regional sales teams ensuring opportunities for consumable expansion are optimised.

The Role
  • Completion of post installation calls to new and existing customers. Ensuring the customer is satisfied with the equipment and installation process and where necessary, ensure any queries are escalated appropriately.
  • Call customers that have stopped ordering, gaining an understanding as the reason(s) and where necessary enforce contractual terms, negotiate on price or use the appropriate selling skills to win back the consumables revenue.
  • To ensure the customer is satisfied with the equipment and installation process and assist customers with portal queries.
  • To be the Point of contact where issues are identified during post install call.
  • Ensuring any queries are swiftly communicated to the various department(s) to resolve and in these cases, to diaries a call back to ensure completed.
  • Attend monthly meetings with regional sales team to enhance collaboration and ensure opportunities for consumable expansion are optimised.
  • Conduct monthly review of subsidised maintenance by region and those not ordering increase to standard charge.
  • Contacting Bronze Accounts (customers with 1machine) within region to ensure there is company/customer interaction- understanding any expansion upsell opportunities.
What You Will Need in the role of Account Support
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working within a customer facing B2B role.
  • Excellent communication skills, in particular an effective telephone manner that forges positive relationships with customers.
  • High level of customer service; active listener.
  • Confident in negotiation, using proven techniques to reach a win-win situation.
  • Flexible and adaptable to help out the team.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Accountable for their responsibilities, requiring minimal supervision to fulfil a varied role to a high standard.
  • Positive 'can do' attitude.
  • Responsive, with a 'service-driven' approach to deliver the 'wow' factor.
  • IT proficient, with a good understanding of Microsoft Office and Outlook as well as CMS systems.
