The Venue
A well-respected coaching inn serving high-quality British food using fresh locally sourced produce, including produce from their own allotment gardens. They are currently striving for 3AA rosettes as they continue to push the boundaries of creativity and quality. They have a good social media following and customers come from afar to experience their creative talents.
The Role
As senior CDP you will support the experienced and highly creative Head Chef and established brigade of 5 to deliver the highest quality fresh food to guests. The venue is a seven day operation but you will only work straight shifts. The average week consists of 40-45 hours per week, and two consecutive days off. You'll have a great opportunity to learn and expand your knowledge, and progress through the kitchen as the team evolves, cooking the latest techniques.
Ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience cooking fresh food to a 2/3 rosette standard within a professional kitchenPassionate about local and seasonal produceHave the desire to learn and expand your cookery knowledge under a very talented head chef
