Remuneration: £28,000 - £35,000 + bonus
Benefits: Fully expensed car & full benefitsThe role of the CAD Technician - Flat Roofing Systems will involve:
- CAD Technician position dealing with various flat roof systems such as; felt roofing, green roofing systems, bitumen membranes, hot melt roofing, cold liquid applied waterproofing, waterproof roof coatings, single ply, structural waterproofing etc
- Produce, check and process incoming design drawing requests, technical documentation and technical calculations
- Checking incoming specifications against client and technical requirements such as sustainability and compatibly
- Carrying out calculations relative to waterproof design (thermal performance, drainage, wind loads, and PV)
- Fielding inbound technical enquiries via telephone and email
- Keep up to date with Industry Codes of Practice & Building Regulations
The ideal applicant will be a CAD Technician - Flat Roofing Systems with:
- Must have CAD experience within the construction industry
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Would consider architects, architectural technicians, surveyors, draughtsmen etc
- Ideally will have a construction related degree
- Strong technical skills
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
