Remuneration: £28,000 - £35,000 + bonus

The role of the CAD Technician Flat Roofing Systems will involve:
CAD Technician position dealing with various flat roof systems such as; felt roofing, green roofing systems, bitumen membranes, hot melt roofing, cold liquid applied waterproofing, waterproof roof coatings, single ply, structural waterproofing etc
Produce, check and process incoming design drawing requests, technical documentation and technical calculations
Checking incoming specifications against client and technical requirements such as sustainability and compatibly
Carrying out calculations relative to waterproof design (thermal performance, drainage, wind loads, and PV)
Fielding inbound technical enquiries via telephone and email
Keep up to date with Industry Codes of Practice & Building Regulations
The ideal applicant will be a CAD Technician Flat Roofing Systems with:
Must have CAD experience within the construction industry
Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
Would consider architects, architectural technicians, surveyors, draughtsmen etc
Ideally will have a construction related degree
Strong technical skills
IT literate(Microsoft Office)
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
